do gender predictions worked in your pregnancy?
im 18 weeks pregnant and im so anxious to know what im having!! all online predictions tell me im having a girl, like the chinesse calendar, some quiz about my pregnancy like how i carry my belly, my cravings etc i want to know if this old wives tales worked for you! i so want a girl!! so ill be so happy if theyre right for me, i have a 3 year old son already so we would love to have the lil princess!

Get an ultrasound. That will be 100% effective at predicting gender.

The chinese calender said I was having a girl, but I’m having a boy. I did the ring test where I put a ring on a string, held it over my belly, and it swayed a certain way. The way it swayed said it was going to be a boy, so that worked and I did that more than once. My belly didn’t carry any certain way, and the wives tales weren’t true either.

My neighbor tried all of that and thought she was having a girl but when she got an ultra sound she found out it was a boy. It is really fun to guess but unfortunatly you can’t know till you have the ultrasound for it! Good luck! Remember both boys and girls are great!!!
How accurate are gender predictions at 21 weeks?
I’m almost 22 weeks pregnant and yesterday I went in for an ultrasound and the tech (who was training someone else during my ultrasound) said that I was having a boy. Since I didn’t want to know the sex right away (because I wanted my family surprisee me with a cake) she warned me not to look if I didn’t want to know, she also didn’t mention anything about the baby’s gender, I didn’t get a picture of the genitals (I was told you usually do), and I obviously didn’t look. So i’m lost completely and cant really determine myself.
Someone else, who works in labor and delivery, was also in the room with me and she said that she didn’t know what she also saw but she saw what looked to be a boy.
She also told me that when she asked the tech what it was, she said it was a boy straight up, and there wasn’t “I think”, “I’m pretty sure” or “Maybe” in front of the statement. She also said that the tech was good because she was also training someone.
P.s. the baby was laying pretty flat, his legs where kinda up by his belly but I was told the tech was pretty sure and knew what she was doing by the person in the room.

I wanted to know the sex of both of mine and both predictions were correct, normally they won’t give you a 100% answer just in case, but boys are easier to recognise as there is something to see, good luck for the rest of your pregnancy!

it’s a lot more plausible to get an inaccurate girl prediction than it is to get an inaccurate boy prediction because some times they can miss little boy parts, but if they see little boy parts, then more than likely, it is indeed a little boy. They predicted my first son’s gender at 21 weeks and it was accurate, and now they predicted this baby’s gender at only 16 weeks as another little boy. Congratulations! looks like some blue blankets coming your way =) Best of luck!

the ultra sound specailist is not meant to say unless they are over 90% sure
